El Turó de la Rovira, the spot with the best views over Barcelona

El Turó de la Rovira, commonly known as "Els Búnquers del Carmel" stand between the Guinardó and el Carmel neighbourhoods. As well as being undeniably attractive as the best lookout spot over Barcelona, it is an area of great historical value.

It offers 360º views and is a special place which is worth visiting. Don´t miss your chance to capture this photograph of Barcelona, whether by day or night. If we look down towards the sea, what is most remarkable is the perfect line formed by the streets of the l'Eixample neighbourhood and the Agbar tower, the Mapfre Tower, the Hotel Arts, the Port, the Sagrada Familia, the Cathedral, the Montjuic mountain... amazing Barcelona is at our feet. On clear days, you can make out the island of Mallorca.

If we look towards the mountain, you can see Mount Tibidabo and the Collserola, the Park Güell, the Valle Hebrón Hospital and the Church dedicated to the Virgin of Carmen, after whom the Carmel neighbourhood is named after.

To get here you can take metro line 5 (el Coll-La Teixonera or El Carmel) or bus number 119 until Calle Labèrnia.
